Slowing down

Slowing down will be the new black the day it will be perceived as upgrade, and not as going back to Stone Age.

Speed limits will go down to save lives and the planet. But cars will allow us to do other things while they drive (as they'll auto drive). We'll be able to work, read, shop, rest.

Delivery will cost a lot more if delivered quickly(because the governments will tax it) so people will opt for slower delivery. But delivery will get more precise, you'll be able to pick a precise time, move it, ask for a delivery in your house, in your trunk, etc.

Ordering something from abroad will mean slow delivery, very slow. Consumption will be more local.

Restaurants allowing people to stay indefinitely, have space will be the most popular. It will cost a bit more. Reservation associated to an ask to eat within 2 hours will disappear.

People will travel less, because it's now out of fashion to take the plane constantly. But they will enjoy higher flight class and unique experience when they travel.

GDP won't go down. It will go up. The world will upgrade.
